First pics of The Optimus Nexus

I'll be getting one in March. Yay.
I'm hearing alot of people complaining about the non removable battery.
But from what I understand, they can pack more battery in without increasing size too much. The Razr MAXX has the life of a GNex with a humpback 3800 mAh extended battery. And from the looks, they moved away from the amolded screen which supposedly uses more battery. And the newest RAZR is HD, so I would suspect this device would have an HD screen too.
So all I can say is, just wait till it gets here, and hope that Verizon gets it.
Sidenote: if I terminate with Verizon, how do I keep the same number? I've had this number for like 6 years.

Question: was the Verizon GNex released at the same time as the GSM GNex?

Im pretty sure the GSM version was available before verizon released theirs. I may be wrong though but I do remember people buying the unlocked international versions online prior to the Verizon release.

Not bothered by the nonremovable battery, and the general public won't be either. I'm more concerned about the lack of a microSD card slot, but only because it'll allegedly come in 8gb and 16gb increments. I can deal with 16gb, but that should really be the starting point. 8gb with no option to expand is a no go.

I am wondering about LTE on this device. Since all of the carriers here in the US have different LTE frequencies, that will be hard to make one for all of them in one device. I am on Verizon with my GNex, but would have no problems moving to ATT with their LTE now in my city. Besides I would then get the updates straight from Google instead of Devilizon.

Ehhhh, I've been looking at pics of this thing for a few days now! Honestly, not to impressed. Especially if its going to arrive with anything under 32gigs as far as memory goes, and without a super Amoled plus screen. An LCD screen with a non removable battery is a setup for crap, along with washed out blacks, which you can tell from how black the bezel is and how lite and washed the blacks on screen are! Come on Google.

Terminating with Verizon would not cause you to lose your number as long as you pick up the next carrier before terminating Verizon, and just tell them you want your number ported from Verizon to that carrier, it should work :)

Maybe you should look into Google voice, so you never have to worry about switching numbers ever again ;)

Just a thought.

The thing people have been saying is all we've seen so far is the GSM version, mako.
The GNex has three variants. Toro, maguro, and that other one. Toro has 32 GB, no less. So, IF Verizon gets the Nexus 4, I think one could suspect it'll have 32 GB. I'm thinking Verizon will get one. LG has alot of phones on their network, and there's no way Google is going to pass up sales on America's biggest network. There may be some other hardware differences as well.

I think this is a great looking phone, very similar to the Galaxy Nexus, which I own and love.

After reading some of the other comments, there are a couple of things to keep in mind with this LG Nexus. The article describes this phone as a prototype, which means that there stands a chance that some changes will be made. With that said, I would assume that any changes would be small considering that the announcement for the new Nexus is just weeks away, allegedly. I
