Can this be done on the epic 4g touch? This is one feature that i'm jealous of the s3 for the video multitasking, is there a way we can get it on the epic 4g touch?

I could do that on my evo design from boost

Yes I can . Just play a video and press home key. First time I did it was on accident. Lol. Nice feature tho

I told you before. Just play a movie or video clip and press home key. I did it by accident on my evo design.

I'm on a stock E4GT from Sprint. No it doesn't video multitask like that. If I start a video and then hit the home button, it pauses the video and waits until I return.

When I played a video then hit the home screen button, it switched to the home screen. After a minute when I went to the task manager (by holding down the home button for 2 seconds) and chose videos, it switched back to the video player and the video continued to play from the point where I switched to the home screen.

Is the video smooth or choppy? Can you hear sound?

There's no way to place the video on the desktop and do other things like texting while the video is still playing. When I press the home button is just brings me to the home screen.

There is a paid app called stick it that also gives you the video multitasking capabilities. They claim to be the only app to offer it

Just downloaded super video from market. Works great and with paid version you can
stream as well
