Dropped the tablet, cracked the screen and bent the bezel.

Have replaced the screen and it is working. I was hoping I would be able to straighten the bezel but no joy.

I haven't been able to find a replacement bezel. Anyone know where I can buy one?

Thanks

There are three videos on YouTube that will give you the basic details on the how to.

If you decide to replace your screen.... TAKE YOUR TIME!

I spent about 3 hours on the replacement. I guess it depends on how much you value your time.

I enjoy the challenge of trying to do something I've never done before. Also since I am retired I had the time to do it.

Now that i have slept on it, I think I will be able to repair my bezel. The bezel is a combination of plastic and aluminum. When the tablet fell, a two inch piece of the plastic broke away from the aluminum. The plastic of the bezel snaps into the edges of the tablet which then holds the bezel in place. I think if I can glue that piece back on then the bezel will look (almost) as good as new.

Yea, I'm not a fan of superglue.

I went with the cheapest replacement screen I could find. I figured that all of the screens were made by the same company. The replacement screen looks identical to the original. The only issue dealing with China was it took about three weeks to get it.

Replacing the screen by yourself isn't for everyone but it worked out ok for me :) ;) :)
