So I downloaded 5.5 last night and today I lost service completely a few hours ago. I had no idea util I randomly saw a text had been sending for like 20 minutes. I reflashed 5.3 and for now everything seems ok.

Anyone else have issues?

Ive seen a couple random reboots, mostly during the night ill for some reason have my eye on my phone and catch it. but never not even once while in use. only on this rom. strange

i just updated to it the other day and so far no issues. no reboots or bad signal.

the only thing i can think of is try and wipe dalvik cache and cache.

5.7

Changes:
Sweep-2-wake added to default kernel and 1.7/1.8 kernel flashable ZIPs
Messaging app: enhanced picture quality plus 500K, 1M, and 5M max sizes.
Updated ES File Explorer

Installation notes:
5.7 has a new kernel with sweep-2-wake, so installation may take a little longer as the new kernel is flashed. Also note that the new SuperSU app will show a process called mksh trying to access root. Just grant permission and then open the SuperSU app, click "mksh" and select "disabled" where it says "Notifications". mksh is being called by the framework whenever WiFi is enabled and is not malware.

Quick question before I update to the latest. I am s-on and I see the newest version has a different kernel. Should I fastboot/flash image gui the kernel before updating? Or is the s-on kernel installer still there to take care of it?

Edit: just read that every version after 4.0 I believe has haus's s-on kernel installer. Just to be safe I made a nandroid, and backing up apps now :)

.... Hmm I'm trying to download the update but it keeps saying error with download. Could this be something to do with s-on I wonder?

... I updated twrp as Mike said it was suggested. Still seeing an error.

... Ok I got it figured out. Kinda answered all my own questions lol. I'm now on version 5.7..but the lock screen is still the same for me. Sense ring pull to unlock. Didn't this update come with some kind of slide to unlock? I'm positive the upgrade went through and it says I am on 5.7 maybe someone could shed some light. :)

It's sweep to wake. It just simply turns on or off the screen, it's not meant to unlock the device.

You can always disable your lockscreen. I think that's available on sense roms. I know it is on aosp

Thanks for that. But I guess Too many people had issues with it idk. But the new version out today got rid of sweep to wake.

Liked sweep to wake but missed that OC kernel a bit, most enjoyed whichever one of the earlier 5's I had which I might switch back to. Messaging app was most stable on that, the day when I don't see the ugly black loading screen can't come soon enough.

I installed that leaked 4.2 keyboard and I like it, that trace thing works pretty damn well and can only make me that much lazier.
