u can get both or one i have both didn't need to wipe anything just flash..always back up first you neva know what can go wrong

Note2 camera is awesome. Just had an idea. Would the Linaro kernel work on this?

Link for 1.0.0 is not working, did I miss a post somewhere? I tried to install 1.0.3 over stock rooted, but it didin't work so I read through the thread and found out i needed 1.0.0 but the link didn't work.

Welcome....v1.0.0 still works for me.
You can use v1.0.3 then update to v1.0.4

Thanks, for some reason whenever I clicked the scroll button on my mouse to open the 1.0.0 link in a new tab it didn't go to the dl link. I tried again but simply left clicked this time and it worked. only 9 hours left to download, I love comcast internet! -_-

Ofcourse it works if your asking you probably havnt tried it yet. Oh hint sbeam only transfer correctly with device with same firmware for example if u tried to send a picture to a ics device from 4.1 on the ics device it would just open play market. But if you do from same firmware on both sides it works. And no this isnt a prob with this rom its like that with all devices. Just wanted to clear that up b4 someone starts to claim nfc/sbeam dont work.

So your saying if were just joining to install 1.3 or would I have to start the original version and work my way up?? Also when you say wipe system do u mean cache and dalveik or what not? Hahaha sorry I'm still a rookie but getting more familiar everyday.

install 1.0.3 then flash 1.0.4

Lol just download 1.3 factory reset and wipe chache then install once thats done just without wiping anything install 1.4 and then reboot and youre good to goo

Also I never seen a response for it but I seen that somebody asked if you could put kernels to this ROM is that a possibility??? Like maybe the linaro kernel?

As of right now, no. It's built for asop based roms. This rom is touchwiz. We'll probably see something soon though. The op of this thread is a developing machine.

Yup ill be bring over a theme I did for my note to this device based off shabby 1.0.4 rom.

today I rooted and installed this rom today... it runs great. I also used the note2 camera.. my wife loves it just want know if I can used the note2 camera on the lg esteem?

I don't believe you can.. It need touch wiz to works properly I'm not 100% sure but almost certain it only works on touch wiz roms..

Ok. I used this on metropolis & it works great. I'm back on bakedbeans & tried to flash it & it didn't replace the camera already there. So I'm thinking that what I need to do is delete the current camera then flash the note2 zip. Or does it work only with touchwiz?

that's why I ask in sgs3 thread and not the lg just in case someone would say it would work and I end up bricking my wife phone.. can we say dog house for the year
