MS77010f update?

I am new to Android when I saw the rebate deal last month.

Did the update earlier today and immediately noticed that all my GPS issues disappeared. In addition GPS Status is showing major improvements to the # of sats I am getting a fix on. At this moment, I have a fix on 15 indoors. Never came close to that ever. My GPS was spotty before, sometimes requiring rebooting to get a fix. I'm guessing that others have reported this problem and they fixed it.

I would like to get reports from others if they notice this big an improvement in GPS function. I like the GPS Status app. If there is a better app, then let me know.

I just noticed that the altitude it is reporting is now dead accurate for the first time ever. I'm in South Florida and it is accurately reporting 7 ft MSL instead of the 30 to 45 ft on the upper end and 25 to 30 ft below MSL on the lower end. According to the GPS, I sometimes need SCUBA to breathe.

Can't say what this update does either, I got it yesterday around 10 PM. RAM usage appears to be up but I can't base that on any factual data.

The only thing i've noticed is that for the first time ever my phone froze and rebooted when I tried to turn on the wifi.

This only happened once, however i'd say that it does seem slower on boot up...

Still love the phone though, wish I had known there was a CyanogenMod for this, otherwise I would have stayed with revision D.

Also 2-init recovery still works like a charm, along with rooting.

According to @MetroPCSMI, the MS77010f firmware update "fixes MMS issues that were reported on the previous software."

Listen...im just now geting this notification at 8am after having a crazy fight with my girlfriend lastnight and let me just spare you a long story to say that I have strong reason to believe that she installed a "spy-bubble" ap and/or some kind or type of spy ap on my phone as she has done this before with previous phones that she was able to install the ap on wout me knowing (e.g., like she probably told me that she needed to use my phone to make a call or something like that and then installed the ap surepititously and/or accepted it) but she told me that these aps require her to download the software onto my phone.....and she has no access to my phone right now and from the sounds of some of these guys in the forum.....this could be a spy ap from a jealous lover or a hacker or even a damn trojan horse virus and they are all just accepting it anyways wout knowing what it is!!! Does anyone else here who recieved this notificfation have reason to believe or suspect that someone like a jealous gf may have tryed to install a "spy ap" onto your phones??? And can ANYONE, ANYONE AT ALL tell me that they know or can quote from a completely official/legitiment source that this so called "software update download" (e.g., that seems to enhance the gps mechanism on the phone according to one writer) is not a sppy ap, and that it serves a legitiment purpose?????????

Don't Ever Forget.

Just because you're paranoid Doesn't mean they Aren't after you! ;)

I have no significant udder thinggummer, nor does Anyone Else have Any access to my phone (without facing the distinct chance of being shot) and I was getting the everlasting, never ending Aren't You Sure You Don't Want This Update reminders on my Motion.

Run a good virus scan on your phone and also one of the Push Program detectors. Both TrustGo Security and AirPush Detector are good ones of those. I don't think an App can Completely Hide without showing up somewhere on your phone. ALL of the phone locate Apps Are Visible somewhere on your phone if you know where to look for them.
