for some reason, I have yet to understand - I suspect an app update that isn't jiving with the Desire ROM I had installed and running great until yesterday... my Nexus basically just kept bricking (as of yesterday)... even a nand backup from a couple weeks back when everything ran smooth isn't helping... so had to go back to a stock Nexus nand restore... i had been using the Desire ROM for a while and guess I liked it more than I thought....

because I find the stock Nexus ROM to SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! the browser, the calendar, the contacts, the email app (can't even have custom multi-line signatures... WTF)...

I'm just ranting, but I think as soon as a true Sense UI Android 2.1 device hits the market, I'll probably look at dumping this Nexus POS - essentially an unpolished turd of a beta phone that google rushed to market... the plain and simple truth is that google can't develop a phone... the only way to get a Nexus running the way I want it (feature wise) is to root, then you have to constantly **** with it and root, wipe, reinstall, and put up with all the ****ing bugs... i'm sick of it... I just want a phone I can have all the basic features I want/need (exchange calendar, cut and past from browser, email signatures, lack of native tethering (and PDANet sucks ass too), decent launcher and decent app drawer - none of this folder over stupid visual bullshit that just slows the scrolling down...)... not to mention a battery usage app that completely overexaggerates display usage %....

arrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :(

I think I may have isolated the culprit.... seems like it was Pure Calendar... for s & g's... restored to an older Desire ROM nand backup that was pre installing Pure Calendar.... so it might be the guilty party... I thought at first it was Touiteur... but no

Things seem stable now with the A19 Desire ROM.... fingers are crossed!
