[GUIDE] Unbrick LG Lucid

I can't get my computer to recognize my phone in download mode. I have reinstalled the drivers, tried different USB ports and cables, and have rebooted the computer. I cannot figure out what it is for the life of me. When my phone plugs into the computer in download mode, device manager doesn't even have anything pop up like it usually does when I plug my phone in any other way. Is it possible that I am installing the drivers incorrectly? I'm running out of ideas. Help would be appreciated.

Try running the tools anyway. Let it go. Take a walk, and come back. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the drivers

I reinstalled the drivers. Still nothing. This is how I installed them:

1. Once downloaded from the link, I went into Device Manager.
2. I then selected the devices (it showed 2) and updated the drivers.
3. I then chose from a list of drivers. I selected LGE AndroidNet for VZW ADB Interface.

After it said they installed correctly, I then tried to run it and it still said no phone was found. I do not have the Lucid. I have the prepaid version of it that Verizon just released. The only difference is that it does not have 4G. I don't know if that would make a difference. I'm just trying to unbrick my phone. Any other ideas?

You sir have a lucid 2 that was rebranded as a prepaid phone. I considered buying one, but got the Samsung Galaxy centura.

It's not the Lucid 2 its the original Lucid rebranded as an LG Optimus Exceed.
I'm sorry I can't help with your issue though. Have you tried a different USB cable? maybe that's what's causing it to not be recognized.

Hey Guys. I followed the instructions to the dot but I get an error during the install. I'm positive I've done everything right. I too rooted and apparently removed the wrong app.. ******* LG.. Anyways. I have a screenshot link that shows what I'm getting at the bottom.
If anyone could help me out, it would be great. :)
I using this KDZ:

Reread instructions. You're running the wrong program to flash it.

My wife has a Lucid that is running stock ICS. I recently purchased a used Lucid on swappa, with the intention of putting CM10 on it and swapping it with my wife's Lucid. I have done everything I can think of but the new Lucid can not be put into Download Mode. With the phone powered down I press vol down + vol up + power and it just powers up to the LG logo and then reboots. Is there another method?

Hold volume down+up and plug in USB.
