So my hubby come home from Sprint today with two LG G2 instead of the S4's I was planning to get. I was looking into both phones and while im pleased with my new toy (since i went 4 months with an s2 with a busted port and had to remove my battery to charge it) I have a few issues that maybe you phone gurus could help me with.
1 - Im trying to set up different text sounds when certain people text me. I have a crazy busy life and while i always check my phone, there are times were i would lije to be able to hear the sound and know thag its just a traffic or weather alert or a message from my mother that can wait. I would prefer to not use any apps, i was kind of hoping that the phone would be smart enough to do it. So any help there is greatly welcome.
2 - i had my heart set on a doctor who case for my would be S4 and an arkham asylum case for the hubs and i understand that the G2 isnt as widely popular yet but can anyone recommend a site to where i could possible start looking for one. Neither one of us really needs something heavy duty as his phone normally sits at his desk all day even when he is not and all of my purses have a dedicate seperate pocket that only house the phone when im running around.
3 - ive noticed that even when im sitting 3 feet away from my wireless router that my wifi icon disappears and either a 3g or 4g icon will pop up in its place. Its normally only for a few seconds but its happened 3 times in the past 20 mins that i have be watching it. Is this a bug that they are aware of or is there something i should be doing with my settings. It doesnt seem to mess with the actual using of the phone but i assume it could be a battery drain later on.
Well i know i will have tons of questions and i might possible end up at spriny tomorrow doing an exchnage (if possible) but thats to anyone that could help this frustrated mom out.
