OK, I know the horrible experience of flashing a ROM and seeing "emergency calls" or "no service" so I'm making this thread to show how I got my own phone back. I actually done this without an efs backup so if someone has a different way, that works, feel free to post it. First off, I want to thank Funkylogik for trouble shooting with me, Heat 57 for giving me advice and tips, and everyone else who isn't afraid to jump in and help people on this forum!

1) download the "stock" firmware.

2) factory rest your phone.

3) open Odin and allow the program to detect your phone.

4) click the PDA button and place the stock firmware that you just installed in that box and press start.

5) wait

6) wait

7) when Odin is finished, restart your phone and voila it now has signal again!

The phone will now need to be rooted again.

Exactly Heat
And thank **** this is AF and not XDA!
This is why i love AF
Second that. In fairness though without XDA there wouldn't be any custom ROMs or Mods for people like us, but it would help if they spoke the Queens English :D half the time I haven't got a clue what they are on about .

I hope this is easy enough to follow, I made it as simple as possible. XDA is loaded with stuff, but when it comes to people like me who mess up, all they say is follow the instructions... Well I always do but they have horrible instructions on some things because it's a long drawn out thread that gets a little complicated

Yeah im addicted to 4.4 now. Hope carbon build one soon.
Right now im using modified builds of CyanogenMod 11 by these dudes on G+ who build only for the i9300.
Best thing about 4.4 is the "ART" setting which makes apps load SO fast its like an iphone. Kitkat is excellent

You should send me the file that your using. I'd like to try it out
