How many hours of battery life do you get out of your N3

This is not a thread about how to increase your battery life or what to do if you don't get X .. There are quite a few threads about it already.

But my battery life suddenly decreased and I would like to gather some ideas what is considered "normal".

Would be nice if people could post their battery life including usage. Maybe even post a screenshot.

I only just charged my phone so I will post tonight, but initial figures from yesterday

Battery life: 9hrs
Main culprit: Android OS (85%)

In general I can tell you I take my Note 3 off charger in the mornings around 6:00 am and put it back on charger at night around 9:00 -10:00 pm. So, I easily get 15 - 16 hours out of mine. I charge mine daily regardless of what my battery is at. The battery on mine has been excellent, especially compared to my old Nexus. I could probably go a couple of days on one charge.

But there was one time that my battery was draining down very rapidly. After digging through everything on my phone I found (in GSam Battery I think) that there was one app that was constantly using my internet connection and was sapping my battery (can't remember the app either). But I power cycled my Note 3 checked everything again and finally got the battery drain stopped. I think I uninstalled the app as well just in case. I know that's kind of not what you were looking for. But check out all of your apps and app usage to see if you have one sapping your battery.

My battery life is off the charts! I could easily go all day without a charge. I had the Nexus 5 before this phone. The N5 had sad battery life. Very sad. The one bummer about that phone was it's battery.

With constant heavy use, the Note 3 can easily go eight to ten hours. I'm talking constant use, as in screen on for almost that amount of time. I've marathoned this device a couple times already! But with average use, I'm down to about 35-40% when using from 7:30 am to 10 pm. That's pretty darn incredible, in my opinion. And I've had most of the really hot phones from the past year (except the S4 and G2).

Main culprit for battery life drain: marathoning. And Facebook. Really should switch back to Friendcaster...

I just rebooted and now battery drain seems to have calmed down .. let's see how it goes ..

So from more browsing in the forums it seem should get at least 12-16hrs of battery life if you just use it for some texts, calls, some emails etc. but 7-9hrs when you play games / watch movies etc.

Usually put the phone on charge around 11pm and I usually wake up in the early am to unplug it, so with my usage which is medium, I can go from the early hours of the morning to around 11pm and still have way over 50% left for another day, I do charge every day as you never know if you're going to use it more from one day to the next. There was one time where I got in from work around 5pm and the battery was on 50% and seemed to be running down quickly but that never happened again so I wasn't sure what it was.
Very pleased with the battery life on the Note 3.

I get around eight hours with very heavy use (screen full brightness, constantly on the web, twitter and FB, navigating using Sygic for periods of around half an hour, perhaps five or six times a day. Email on push constantly, all notifications on, toggling between mobile data and wifi, maybe five or six phone calls of around two minutes in length. Five to ten SMS.).

I'm seriously impressed by my battery life. I have only done this as above a couple of times when I've forgotten my vehicle charger, usually it is getting constantly topped up with juice.

Average is 19 hours, but that includes approximately 6-8 hours while sleeping (I use DS Battery Saver, to force the phone into deep sleep...prior to going to bed). So 12-14 hours of actual/heavy usage is about right. For me, heavy usage is a ton of text messages, automatic push emails for my gmail accounts and work, as well as a 3rd email address that pushes emails every 4 hours, and social networking/internet usage when needed...top it off with a few phone calls.

There have been days where I've kept DS Battery Saver on for the entire day and made it past 24 hours, with very little use (except for the emails still pushing when I take the phone off standby and occasional texts).

For me, I've gotten into my comfortable rotation of swapping out batteries (OEM Samsung battery kit) every night, prior to going to bed. That has enabled me to get around the same battery life I was experiencing with the Note 2.

I'm retired, so I don't hit the battery as hard as you guys do, but (this was during the initial conditioning of the battery): To say I'm pleased is an understatement.

Lol, yeah stock battery, but I turned wifi and data off between work breaks, as if it goes off, I have to answer the damn thing lol but both data and wifi on outside of work.
I was surprised to see that stat this morning but looking at Rukbats stats, that's awesome!

between 22 Hours and 28 Hours Including Games for at leat an hour a day, All day long enabled Wi-Fi or 4G and browsing the internet for at least 6 Hours a day, The rest is messaging and calls :)

What I do to keep up a good battery life is using the device down to 2 %, usually this is at night, Shut it down, Fully charge it, Never overcharge it and open it and use it in the morning so the phone can rest for a while :)

I noticed just today that a reboot, like someone mentioned earlier, increases the battery life so I wonder if an app has some sort of memory leak.
Considering some of the code I've seen (uninitialized variables, opens without closes - in a loop) it's more like a memory flood.

But it's letting all that high-current hardware run for no reason, and "memory-saver" apps, that seem to consume a lot of unneeded power. Turn off scanning, turn off BT, turn off GPS, turn off wifi when you're not near a router - that saves power. (I also have my 3G/4G off when I don't need it - Data ON-OFF - nice little widget.) And my screen timeout is 15 seconds.

Who needs apps?
