The version at XDA is 11/19 .How to get the latest version of this ROM?
Yeah, I've seen the download link in the OP thread on XDA. But is that the latest 11.13.13?

Can you update the hboot by placing the file from the rumrunner into the external sd and renaming it to "PJ75IMG.zip" then booting into the bootloader?
I might have read that on xda but I'm not too sure.
There's a post providing the updated recovery that way.
I wouldn't mess with bootloader installation instructions without verifying that.
Yes, you can.Can you update the hboot by placing the file from the rumrunner into the external sd and renaming it to "PJ75IMG.zip" then booting into the bootloader?

Is this an issue with this Rom ...?Anyone else having problems making calls via Google search method?
After doing a search for a number ... I noticed the number connect ..then immediately disconnects.
Can someone verify this for me.
Thanks.
Okay, then I guess I have the latest. The version at XDA is 11/19 .
Awesome. Save me the hassle.Yes, you can.
How do you update the hboot? I used to know but I can't remember.
Are you sure you're S-OFF?Everything works smoothly until I get to the command "fastboot flash zip hboot_rumrunner_jewel_3.17.651.4.zip" then it just says "sending..." indefinitely. It shouldn't take long to send 398KB right? First command was a success at clearing cache. Second command took me to a black screen with just HTC on it. But that's as far as I can seem to get.
You actually don't have to update hboot to flash the ROM. As long as you're using one of the SELinux recoveries, it should flash fine.Positive. I used DirtyRacun back when it was brand spankin new. I was very insistent on getting s-off because fastboot flashing kernels was such a pain in my butt. I also used the bootloader customizer. Might that be causing some sort of issue?
... I figured it out.I have s-on, unfortunately, nonetheless ... i would love to flash this ROM. So, I am not a tech savvy person when it comes to rooting -- but i don't shy away from a challenge either.
Can you give me some info on getting around doing this, Cap? <smile>
Have you posted in the rooting thread? There are S-OFF methods that work with all software versions for jewel.... I figured it out.
I have to pull out the boot img and flash through fastboot. This method is somewhat a tedious task.
My thing is...why can't I get s-off --- even after following the procedure step-by-step.
I don't know any more than the next person. There are IRC channels for support on most of the methods.I did...but no one seems to know anything different than what I already tried doing.
Could you assist me in trying to get this done?
Okay ..I don't know any more than the next person. There are IRC channels for support on most of the methods.
You might just need to start from scratch. Relock, run the 3.17 RUU, and then unlock again and reinstall a custom recovery. You might even be able to get S-OFF to work after that, if something's just not working right on the device. It's funny on how on one try ... I got his ROM installed and boot (s-on). And I've tried multiple times to get the Sense (rooted) stock rom installedmto no avail.

I can't think of any reason these things shouldn't be working for you.
