Surprised the voicemail app/indicator is not a big deal to most. Personally I rely on knowing I have a voicemail waiting to listen to, rather than having to check every time I get a missed call by pressing and holding 1 to see if a message was left.

This ROM was working extremely well for me with no random reboots so I'll probably restore my backup with the voicemail notification working, back it up with titanium, then reflash.

Considering the awe scene is so small, why would you not want to share work amongst other devs, especially when it's something like deodexing stock? Allowing more devs access to a clean base to build on can only be a good thing.

For example, I prefer this rom over all other custom roms because it is the only rom that doesn't boot loop my phone.

Gravity box. I'm working on beats audio modding it right now just switched to red, added the beats boot animation and flashed beats audio libs to this bad boy

My rom shouldnt bootloop you either, maybe just random reboots every now and then but thats because of the kernel. I now have the git source for it so I plan on fixing it myself (if possible) and hopefully bring more appeal to the device.
My base is not a problem. I am going to release the entire barebones deodexed rom, but without any changes except for removing bloatware. That way others can do what they like. I only ask that I am credited for the deodex/debloat as I did the work. Its not about not letting others use my rom, its about making sure credit is given where its due. Yes anybody can do it, but I want to be able to provide it to make it a bit easier for anyone maybe starting out.
As for the kernel differences, yeah it will work better because its stock. I'm not a "stock" guy and the kernel, while slightly unstable, is faster and performs much better than stock. Thats the whole point of overclocking. How fast can it go, where is the limit, how far can we push it while making it usable. The old version of the kernel that bootloops for others runs like a crackhead on my phone, but rarely works for others. I even have the proof on my YT channel. Its gotta be done right and the guys have gotten off to a good start. We can only get better

Kernel is getting better, i only made this rom mainly because of oc instability

I could have released a flashable zip with the stock kernel (useful to at least unlock second core) but I want to give people a taste of what's to come with it. Theres still a lot to do and while it is getting better its a little far off from being *official* even though it is the only one available.
Like I said I want to work on it too since I now have the source, but I'm not versed in the modding yet. Tuts only do so much. It comes down to experience and thats what I want to achieve.
Your rom is really great and I'm looking forward to what you can come up with. GL!

I found a new one that doesnt use a dsp manager that I'm gonna post in my beats forum in a little while. Doesnt use any extra battery, it just adds libs to the system ported from htc

I want to see this phone true power ,and that's not gonna happen on a slight modify rom so I'm gonna have to agree with drangonhart everything you did all you had to do was be rooted cmon you might as well stayed on the stock rom y download this slightly modify rom least you will be notify of a voice mail have your lil icon lol

The only way to get that is to get out of stock. In the current state of things, were a bit off from that yet.
Until we have aosp, were gonna have what we have which is stock-based. The only thing we can do for now is mod it out with kernel and apps.

Exactly, you can only do so much, modding takes time. We have come a long way so far. the future can only bring more:-D

Didn't you mention before that your team had a bootable cm 10 but it still had a ways to go? Any more info about that? Isn't cm a aosp base rom ?
