I haven't forgot about this was a bit busy for holidays, also during this time I had to buy a new CPU and HDD, I also dev my main phone over at xda (G2);) so I can get busy

I probably won't be using CM as base anymore since its a bit buggy with this board, more than likely it will be something like AOKP or similar. I will be working on making a new device tree for the phone (it needs it to fix core issues) and DM47021 will be making a proper ramdisk

I agree. The devs are doing this because they love to do it and spend a lot of their own time. We need to be patient and enjoy what they have already provided us.

I didn't mean to push. was just curious about how, and if, it was progressing.

I'm running Slimbean now and It seems to be pretty stable. The only thing I wish it could do,but it can't is access YouTube or other streaming content. Also I get the "Android is upgrading." Message at every reboot. I think it wipes Dalvik every time and has to rewrite it at startup. Doesn't bother me though its a decent ROM.

The bad news, jssa28 already don't want to service for 4 g, even has compiled kitkat, also not willing to share

have compiled kitkat and not willing to share? where are you making this up from

the only kitkat i ever compiled is not good enough for alpha. Calling and phone charging don't even work those two features alone make it useless, so I am not sure what you are talking about

I also don't know what service for 4 g means

Hey jssa, I've updated the Evervolv overlay to 4.4.2 and I think the Evervolv guys have a lot of important things working and I've done a bit of work on its ramdisk. It's all on GitHub so you're welcome to study and use anything in there or the kernel source.

Everything works except the camera, Bluetooth, and apparently 3G, but I think the latter two are trivial things. The fromer is due to a move to ION and might take some work.

I'm not interested in spending too much time on this phone, but I'd be pretty glad if anything I do helps out.

Also, I know you've probably been doing this sort of thing longer than me, but if there's anything I've learned in the past couple if years, it's that it can be pretty dangerous to tease things. Projects can get interrupted and people tend to get a little impatient.

Well I respectfully hope something comes of this. FreedomPop has issued thousands of these phones, refurbished and rooted. They work off wimax and those of us who have become reaquainted with this phone would love to see something developing for them. I am on Blue Kingdom and liking it, but would love another upgrade if it is possible.

Thank you either way for the work you have all done in the past on behalf of those who don't have the knack for this sort of thing!

Yea you are right, mistake on my part, however since my G2 is out for repair for at least this week since the LTE chip went goodbye I am going to see if I can get kitkat out this week for kingdom (no promises)

I'm generally not someone who promises something and doesn't finish it, was just having fun dev'ing for a large community on xda. The progress I made on kingdom was done in only about 3 days but lost motivation about that time.

I'm going to fork your kingdom repo and update a bunch of stuff that's very out of date and we will see what happens
