I rooted my samsung admire and deleted the stock launcher before I had a chance to set my other launcher to default and my screen went dark. I powered my phone off and did a reboot but it gets stuck at the samsung logo. I went into recovery mode using the android system recovery 3e and did a wipe user data and wipe cache partition and reboot. It got passed the logo but the setup wizard failed and it went back to the dark screen.

There was a thread I read that using this stock system recovery I can install zips from the sdcard after renaming them update.zip but they have to be official ROMs cause it cant install custom ROMs, so to get to my question. Is there any official ROMs to download or am I screwed:thinking:

Other questions:
Is my phone still rooted? Is there a way to install CWM from here?

You sound new , well to me so welcome aboard,
Ok 1. You need to have a custom recovery in order to install custom ROMs.
2. Yes there are custom ROMs available. Check here http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?t=452614
3. No your not screwed as long as your device isn't hard brick then there is always a way.
