My less than 2 week old SanDisk 64gb card is all of a sudden ONLY recognizing my sdext partition... No music, no saving stuff, just linked apps. Im stock, rooted mc1. No other tweaks. I also have a VM stock rooted mg5 victory, same problem... Its perfectly readable in my non rooted polaroid tablet though... Help me please... Not wanting to LOSE 40 some odd GB of music

Put the card into the phone that recognizes it, connect the phone to your computer and copy all the music to a backup folder on your computer. (Then go to sleep for the night.)

Once everything is backed up you cn try reformatting the card in the phone. If that doesn't work, contact SanDisk. They're easy to work with, and they'll replace defective cards. (That's part of the reason that I only buy their cards. Another reason is that yours is a rare case - SanDisk cards rarely fail.)

I just had my 32GB fail. Patriot brand. Dunno when I got it (but was in my Optimus so definitely near a year ago). Opened a ticket with them on their website and they set up an RMA. I sent it out last week so we'll see how that goes.

You're lucky you can read some data from yours. copy it, back it up. breathe.

After mine died and I put a spare 8GB in, I set up foldersync to do some more files from my card to a dropbox/google drive. I already had my photos set up to sync to drive, but I didn't like losing my Titanium Backups (nor my TWRP mainly... but I immediately made a fresh one on the 8GB and copied it to my PC manually).
