It has been working for me so far, but I have only booted into it once. The yellow triangle that appears during the normal boot has me puzzled, though. I'm not sure if I should be worried about it or not, however part of me does think that it may be normal and that it is just Android's way of saying that it has been modified and that it really isn't something to worry about. This is the first phone I've ever done this with, by the way. I flashed with Odin.
Tried to flash in Odin twice in recovery. Odin says Pass and is green however it'll reboot a short time later. Then when it reboots I see a yellow triangle with exclamation. If it was successful how do I get to CW mods menu? I reboot in recovery and it's the same default menu.
Also what apps, if any, do I need. Maybe that's what I'm missing. I didn't have busybox or anything.
Can someone give me step by step instructions. I went to the video but it's a little different because of the Ring.
i have boost ring and i accidentally pressed the wrong button in odin and now it stuck in boot loop and ive tried everythin but flash a pit file because i cant find one any where does some one have alink to the pit file please and thank you
Ok so i downloaded the tar file, Ran it through odin & all went well or so i thought, this recovery cannot format ? If this be the case is anybody working on this issue ? My god damn wife's phone is now on the fritz & i just wanna fix it so she'll shut up about it. Phone just sits on the boot sreen gets passed the boot logo though. Any help here would be great.
I just got the Ring this afternoon, and I'm a Mac user. So I'll thought I'd just pass this along since people are having issues putting CWM on this device.
So if you haven't already, install ADB.
After you do that, install the frameroot APK with a "adb install whateverapk.apk" and go through the rooting process.
