Tempered glass screen protector

Anybody been able to find any company selling a tempered glass screen protector for the MAXX?

Are you looking for a replacement for the gorilla glass (tempered) screen on the Maxx or something that mounts over it made of tempered glass? I've never heard of the second one.

I've seen plenty of plastic sheets, plenty of zagg style protectors, but I've never seen a tempered glass protector for the Maxx or Ultra.

I am looking for something like Tempered Glass Display Protector for Galaxy S 5 - Verizon Wireless, except for the MAXX

That's been my experience too. Seems like the Droid line isn't getting the same love that Samsung or even the Moto X, G, and E is getting with respect to this particular accessory

I just got and installed a tempered glass screen protector on my maxx. Love it! The screen is so much brighter and more responsive then it was with the thick plastic one that I had. Can't even tell it has a protector now.

I bought it on amazon. It's brand is redpepper cases. Nice and easy install. Wipe with included alcohol prep pad and micro fiber cloth and then position it and tap the center and it sucks to the screen like magic.

It is even removable and reusable. I had to position it a couple times until I was satisfied with the alignment. No squeegee no praying for dust to stay away during application. Set and forget!

Thanks for the link! I ordered the one for $6.99. $95.97 is a ridiculous amount! It has to be an error.

The $95.97 one is likely sold out and the seller is holding the listing until he has more in stock, common practice on ebay now, i see stuff all the time thats $999.99 for a $9 item, this way they don't have to end the listing and pay to relist, also the price is crazy so people won't actually buy it, then they get more in stock and put the price back to normal.

Yeah, that's probably the case. But, both auctions are the same seller. :eek:

And, I ordered and paid for mine on Oct. 25th. Still haven't received it. Was supposedly shipped the same day I bought it, but the tracking says the Post Office didn't get it until the 29th.

Hopefully it will show up sometime next week. I'm not in a rush because Verizon is holding my Maxx hostage until my wife's iPhone 6 Plus is in stock. They won't do separate shipments. :rolleyes:

Just received my tempered glass screen protector that I ordered off of eBay for $6.95 today.

I have never had a screen protector so easy to put on. Flawless installation. It looks good and I like the privacy feature of it. So far I am pleased with it.

That's good to know. I also received mine today. My phone won't be here until Wednesday.

I did order a couple of extras (screen protectors, not phone) just in case I had issues. Sounds like there won't be any issues. That's good.

Picked up the phone today and installed the protector. Piece of cake. I initially had it shifted about 3mm to the left and I decided I would fix it. The protector peeled off without issue and I was able to reposition it.

It's a really nice item.
