Rooted phone last night.
Accidently deleted "vold. fstab" from system/etc.
Unrooted this morning,so I could factory reset.
Can't Factory reset.Can't Connect to PC.Internal & external SD cards can't mount.Can't download anything.

NOT BRICKED.Have "vold. fstab file. Can boot to FTM mode.FTM mode connects to PC.Only problem is I dont't know anything about FTM mode, how to use it,what software I need.

If I could manage to get "vold.fstab" back onto system/etc,SD Cards should work, and I can factory reset(which I want to do,but probably won't need to).But I can't figure out a way to get that file on my phone without downloading or transferring from PC.
Help!

Still haven't solved it,no.How do I "push it"?
Downloaded "installer_r23.0.2-windows.exe" from developer.android com.Installed using default filepaths.

Do I need to download any SDK tools/anything besides what it came with??

What's the full filepath for the "etc" folder?

Used this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=642437 but step 2 isn't working for me so I figured I've already done something wrong

I thank you for you're timely response, and expect your prompt reply.

From the research I've done,my only two viable options to fix this problem are

1:pushing the file, which I still don't know how to do (mostly due to me not being able to find the "tools" folder, despite installing with default settings)
OR
2:Flashing stock ROM,which I also don't know how to do,but heard was easier

Anyone have the stock scatter file?
