Help best batter life ever...

OK....shot in the dark here. Have a nexus 5, been going through a lot of roms. Multi boot, all that. Had a ROM/kernel combo that ...with running Pandora for 7 hours straight plus normal use at work....Leaving me with 60% plus at 4:30. Carbon, cm11, ose....ect I'm at 60% at lunch. So simply put, I lost backup trying other roms and cannot for the life of me remember what I was using. So looking for great battery life experience's with nexus5 roms / kernels....please!!! Lol

This thread is going to get moved but I'll bite. If you had 5-6% battery drain per hour using mediaserver, that's pretty damn good. I would suggest Franco kernel but I don't have any stats for you to reference cause I never listened to music for 7 hours straight lol.

Edit: just found out carbon changed to cm. No kernel options there without patch.

Yeah, I utilize Pandora a lot! Lol and again, I was seriously impressed! I do believe it was franco I was using. I'll keep trying with multiboot....I do know whatever ROM I had it came with ds battery saver pre installed. And on a full charge was showing 45+ hours.

BTW... my device is Google nexus 5

Been testing a few settings with carbon/elementalx this week. With no over clock, row and ondemand. Also disabled DT2W and S2W/S. I'm pretty close, and pretty happy with around 55% at 4:30. Not what I had but will settle for now until I feel like pouring more time into testing alternate roms/kernels.

Yes battery are made to die fast. If we use it you will get depleted by 5pm. Fory wife iphone i bought a power case so she easily get past all day.
I order from eBay one for my s4. Hope to get through all day.

The iPhone is terrible for battery drain!!!

I've had the optimus f6 and lg motion before my nexus 5 and was never able to make it through the day without plugging in. Don't think I've had to plug in once since I've owned my nexus 5.
