To save Battery I Toggle to 2G when not using data & Have Location on, So far on my Phone anyways it sleeps better with 2G than being on 3G, idk might be due to less battery being used for the radio to start with...

Just thought I'd toss that out there for you battery life savers...

I have seen similar when restoring apps to R10. It also happened to me when I went to r9 from warheads.

In both cases I was restoring just apps and data to limit the amount of problems I might cause myself crossing OS versions so I guessed that was the problem.

It shows the apps as somewhat installed for me. They do not show up in the tray. When I go into the market the downloads shows them as installed but when I select the app it gives me the option to install it. Quite strange.

The back up that we made from 1.6 NoTwiz is not compatible with the galaxy roms, in order for them to work, you would need an early backup from and earlier galaxy build. At least thats the only thing I can think of, cause I have the same problem

@ Benny, reboot your phone again. I did a 2nd reboot and have been sitting at 74% for about 45 mins. Go into your settings -> about phone -> battery usage and see if IDLE is in there. Or lock your phone, wait 5 mins, and hit "MENU" and see if the buttons light up. if they don't, you should be good. If they do, reboot your phone.

FYI. After flashing R10 from Warheads, would get reboot all the way up to a black screen. Tried reflashing & same thing. Took out SD card & booted up fine. While phone was on, inserted SD card & reformatted it in the phone. Then booted into recovery mode & partitioned SD card & phone booted up fine. Good thing I had my card backed up. Then just installed my apps & copied my music back to card. I guess R10 doesn't like stuff from Warheads. Will report back on battery life after two cycles.

At anytime you get the Black screen, you Can do this from adb shell!

1. Boots & goes to black screen
2. Plug usb into computer
3. Open a Command prompt
4. adb shell
5. cd /system/sd/app-private
6. rm -r *
7. cd /system/sd/dalvik-cache
8. rm -r *
9. reboot

That's it running those commands will let the Phone Boot Correctly from there on...

Now regarding Upcoming JAVA Release Build that should be coming tonight... I'm very happy over all with this build, also Any cut & Better Cut is working correctly ( I bought Better Cut just to check ) so this should make a Few happy
Next, we still have the option for 7 screen & the layout is awesome!
I also figured out how to re-edit the cache & userdata so this should fix the end results of having to use the factory resets as well..
Root issue's? So far I've not had any issue's with the Build regarding Root, nor did I have with DOTS so I think I finally got that Squared away..

Battery Life?
I had a Few reboots I've done here an there testing a few other Feature, but without a charge I'm currently on
49% Battery Charge @ 41:23:02 ( hr/min/sec ) of up time!
so I think the battery issue is now fixed as well, but like alway, Time will tell...

so far this build runs roughly with 102mb free at all time, then again the launcher I'm using has the ability to to end Process, I don't want to say what launcher it is until I release it & see what the Feedback is regarding it ...

You can put as many home screens as you want.Push "Menu" button from home screen,than go to "More" than to "Extended" than "Home screen".

Another tip that half of ya dont know about.When you open up the Launcher hold and drag any app to the recycle bin,you will see an option "Hide from Launcher".It will let you hide apps from launcher.This is really usefull,because you can put apps that you rearly use in a folder and hide them from the launcher,so when you open the launcher you wont have to search through 50 apps to find your favorite ones.3 months of using android and i just found that out,lol.

Update: Pushed build.prop into /system get FC on google.map error upon start up. After launching Maps same error and Maps closes.
