Root CM12.1 Unofficial Beta

I got my home pc all set up with Java, Cygwin, kitchen, and have started building a ROM for our phone based off of BadMofo's February build, as this one has had the least problems on my volt. I have remote desktop installed so I can play with it while I'm at work, so pray for me that I can figure this thing out because so far I haven't been able to get my ROM to flash, it's some problem with the updater script. I also am running a 64 bit, I think I read somewhere that lollipop wont work with 64 bit and I need some code to make it compile in 32bit.

I'm going to try using the original META folder from the ROM and replacing the one created by Cygwin and see if that helps.

Any Devs out there who can give me a point in the right direction would be much appreciated!

Hey guys. I just flashed the 3/26 build and the boost APN fix. For a while I've been getting the "No Sim Card" prompt on the lock screen. Funny thing is, I have a sim inserted in the phone. I never added air time to the phone but on the cm11 build I didn't get this message. Anyone know of a way to fix this or what the problem may be?

This happens to everyone, it doesn't mess with your phones functionality at all, just there. There's no fix as of yet.

It's so weird with the lg volt. I have two of them in my house (boost) and (Vm). The boost is so different everything works on it, camara front, and back, video also gps, LTE. The Vm only has front camara and no gps. The camu app does help and LTE is a hit and miss.
My boost volt I have has front cam and slow GPS lock but lte works at least. I'm not sure what's causing phones to be different tho doesn't seem to matter how we flash the file...

well i think i bricked my lg volt. I flashed the boot.img in the file provided in this thread using flashy it asked me to reboot so i did and now i cant get back into the homescreen just keeps booting. I tried to wipe the data but nothing happened and i'm still locked out of my device. Does anyone know a fix?
If you can still get into recovery you're fine. Just restore one of your backups or reflash cm 12 or the zv5 stock rom. If you can't get into recovery try getting into download mode. If you can access download mode you can use the zv3 restore method.

You soft bricked it...you flashed the boot img for this ROM, but you're not running this ROM, therefor, no boot for you. Why did you do this? If you weren't sure how to flash the ROM, don't just start flashing random stuff.

There are a few options to fix your problem, which one depends on your phone's status at this point and how you want to proceed. IF you have TWRP installed, you can either wipe the phone's system and data partitions and flash the zip for this ROM and gapps (if you don't have a gapps package, you'll need to download one [see first post] and get it on your SD card) using the 'Install ZIP' option.

or...

You can go download the zv5 stock ROM and flash that same as above (except you won't need gapps).

or... (if you don't have TWRP)

Follow the guide in this thread to restore zv3 and reupdate to zv5, then use the root method for zv5 in this same thread to restore root.
