TABS Crash error happens constantly when I click to browse to a different page. Can happen on any website.
Example: On any website I am reading and want to click on a link to go to another story, it will load & take me there. Just as I begin reading the page, the tab crash page pops up. If I reload as it says to do, the story reloads, and I have to start reading it all over again. But the tab crashes again.

I clean the cache on the phone, and sometimes it has helped. but the problem comes back.
NOTE: That this happens only while using the default browser installed on the AVANT.
I downloaded Chrome app, and it never has happened on chrome.

So Could this be a browser issue?
My phone is NOT rooted. I dont plan on rooting it either.
But is there a way to make Chrome my default broswer if I can not receive a solution?
A member of my family with the same phone also has this happening to her.
Her Avant is 1 month old, mine is 5 months old. Anyone else has this problem going on?

THanks for the reply, Codyedmonson.......Note that this tab crashing ONLY happens while using the built in web browser on my Samsung Avant cell. WHen I use Chrome browser, no crashing occurs.

So is there a fix it solution?
Thanks in advance
I think someone said restarting the phone once a week fixed it, but I don't use the built in browser, I deleted it.

Thanks roller, that is what I was afraid of....needing to root the phone. So if I disable the browser, will chrome automatically be used as the default browser? Or must I 'make' chrome the default after i disable the built in browser?
Please advise on the 'how to' also.....I thank you again.

It should auto detect the only thing able to open web pages and you actually cannot disable the stock browser. But here's the way to disable any app, go to settings> Application manager> scroll over to all then find the app you want to disable tap on it, and if you can you'll see a turn off button highlited, if not it'll be greyed out.
