Took the OTA 5.0 release and the phone no longer boots passed LG screen.

About 2 months ago I used the LG flash tool to tot back to stock then took all updates over the air and did not root as I had to run some corp software on my phone for email that could detect root. A few days ago I decided to take the 5.0 OTA and now I am stuck.

I have all the files to tot back and can get into download mode but my PC does not install the MTP drivers and can not see the port come up in device manager to set to com41.

I think my phone is fixable I just am lost as to how to proceed.

Please help...

OK let's try a little more old school approach then.

Download to desktop. Unzip into a regular folder. Goto device manager, right click on the unknown device which is the phone while connected in d/l mode, choose option to update driver, choose option to provide your own driver, point to the location as the ENTIRE folder of vzw drivers. Windows will search the whole folder for the d/l mode one and hopefully apply it.

You've probably already thought of this but if you're not using the stock charging cable try that. Also try every usb port at your disposal. Short of that if you have a different pc/laptop you can try, that'd be worth a go also. If win8, there can be some driver certification issues I think. Supposedly there's a way to disable that. I'm not up on the methods as i'm primarily a linux user.
