Help Mobile (one plus) keeps rebooting after dropped in water

Hi everyone

A few days ago i unfortunately dropped my mobile in water. it seemed like it didn't take any damage, so i didn't shut it down (i know, a bad idea). After this the mobile keeps rebooting when i tries to start it. i have tried the following solutions:

removing the battery
putting it in a bowl of rice
putting it in the oven for 2hr
rebooting in fast reboot mode.

When it reboots, it says the buzz sound, and the one plus logo lights up at the screen, so i know the screen is still working, and when i try to fast boot it, it shows the fastboot logo, and then goes black. Is there anyone who has any ideas that might work.

Furthermore, when i removed the battery, i also removed the insurance.

I hope someone has an idea how to fiks this

What phone do you have? Is it root-ed? Leave it off.

Oneplus One I think mate (non user removable battery so he's right warranty is void not to mention the water damage)
All you can do mate is keep it in the rice in a warm (not the oven lol) place for say a week then try booting again but I'm afraid it sounds like a lost cause

yeaa, i knew the warranty was lost when i removed the battery, but i had to try something

Okay, some forums just said the oven could be an idea

darn, hoped there was a way to make it boot right, since there is light in the mobile, but thanks

There's always hope if you let it dry properly in dry rice but I'd say around 7/10 water damaged phones always die eventually

Pity every phone isn't waterproof.
I'd be devastated if it was my OnePlus One so I feel for ya dude

yeaa, my xperia z3 was waterproof, but it was not catproof, so i hope this one will survive.
thought that the startingscreen working, was a sign that it would work ^^

I don't know if the boot screen is part of the OS but you could get lucky. Don't give up hope yet. Leave it a week and don't be tempted to boot it.
