Root Boost Moto E 2015 LTE Stock 5.0.2 and 5.1 Soak test ROMs

Here is a stock rom with some extra features. I do not have time to test it so flash at your own risk. I assume everything will work, but you never know. Here are the features:
  • Rooted
  • Deodexed
  • Debloated
  • Native hotspot fixed
  • init.d support added
  • Write to external media from 3rd party apps enabled
surnia_stock_5.0.2_deodexed.zip

Let me know how it goes. I will test it when I get a chance if nobody else does it first :)
Hey man, could you upload the hotspot fix for 5.0.2 separately? I can't get this rom to work and your 5.0.2 stock rom is the only rom that my virgin mobile xt1526 gets 4g lte on.
I'm getting tired of trying to get LTE working on all these other roms so figured if I could get hotspot on 5.0.2 I'll call it good

Can we get an updated unmodified rom please I'm annoyed with this new update that keeps popping up have tried to install it but it doesn't like twrp also tried with your stock recovery but it would not work either this is for 5.1 thanks in advance for your work. If it is easier you could walk me through the process to get this to install. The only thing I have right now is just your 5.1 rom unmodified thanks.

I think this is the 5.0.2 hotspot fix, but since I did not label it as such I can't be 100% sure. I can tell you that I have 5.1, 5.1-2, and 5.1-official hotspot fixes labeled and to the best of my knowledge 5.0.2 is the only one left. So, there is a pretty good chance this is the right one. Make a backup first just in case. Good luck :)

I used partition backup & restore to backup the modem on the other phone and loaded in on the new phone. Unfortunately, data still doesn't work. Still trying to sort it out, thanks for your help.
You can try flashing this partition updater. It is made with partitions ripped from my device. I have not tested it so use at your own risk. These are the official 5.1 partitions so you will need to use the official 5.1 rom, not the soak roms found in this thread.

Hey guys im having a bit of trouble. So i wiped everything on the phone, before i gave it to a friend, i accidently wiped the rom and everything, they fooled around in the recovery not knowing what to do and well now i dont k.ow how to repair things. I have the stock 5.0 rom and permissive kernel. But after i flash i jist get stuck on the bootloader. Im thinking the system or data mite have been formated to f2fs or something wrong. What is system formatted as on the moto e? As well as data? Their file systems

/system is ext4 and /data is f2fs on a stock device.

Hmm no matter what i wipe or flash i cant get this thing off of the bootloader. Odd. In the recovery, is there something i mite have wiped that would be vital other than rom and kernel? Something that would mess the phone up unless reset or rewritten? Im not familiar with partitions or even their role in all of this. Eager to learn tho and trying to fix this, any help is much appreciated.

DISCLAIMER: By using this rom, you agree that you are the only one responsible for anything good or bad that may occur. Use at your own risk.;)

For Boost Mobile Moto E 2015 LTE XT1526 only.

Stock 5.0.2 Unmodified ROM
surnia_stock_5.0.2.zip

NOTE1: The unmodified ROM is not rooted. To root, flash SuperSU after the ROM

NOTE2:
Your device must have a custom recovery such as TWRP to flash ROMs.

NOTE3: These zips are unsigned so you may need to disable signature verification in TWRP before flashing.

Flash in TWRP as follows:
  1. Download ROM
  2. Put the ROM.zip on your sdcard if not already
  3. Reboot to TWRP Recovery
  4. MAKE A BACKUP!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Wipe data/Factoy reset
  6. Install ROM from sdcard
  7. Reboot
  8. Enjoy!
**If you get errors while flashing, please try the following**:
  1. Go to Mounts in TWRP recovery
  2. Uncheck system
  3. Flash rom again

surnia_permissive_kernel - Stock kernel, init.d support, included permissive init.d script

hey could you put a step by step instruction on how to install these roms?
thanks

I'm currently running a MM 6.0.1 ROM, but want to revert to LP.

My bootloader version is 80.0F. Can I flash the 5.0.2 ROM without bricking the phone?

If not, can I still revert to 5.1? And what's the difference between 5.1 in this thread and SuperR's 5.1 here: http://androidforums.com/threads/boost-moto-e-2015-lte-stock-5-1-2-unmodified-deodexed.962555/

Is this a dumb question? I thought I'd read that once the BL is updated on the Moto E, you can't downgrade (but maybe that only applies to 5.0.2).
