Please explain to me how Android it looks like ios!
Sure! Plz keep in mind that these are opinions but I'm certainly not the only one thinking this (myself coming from as far back as Cupcake, Android v1.5). Flash almost any stock LP or M ROM, then look at the apps.. Almost all icons are square with rounded corners with low grade graphics - like iOS. Increasingly harder to access & modify the icons - like iOS. But we're talking LOOKS, so.. Mostly (IMO) the material light themes and squarish/cheesy graphic icons were doin' it that makes it look so close. Have to go real far outta the way to change it, unfortunately. Stock ppl are closer to being completely screwed. Android is supposed to be about options. And those are getting fewer & father in between.

Ok,i know everyone is about to hurt me but listen,I flashed the latest broken os,and the second someone called me the screen turned black and i had to force reboot. The developers have fixed this issue and moved on,i understand that. But i just want to know is there something i've done wrong, I clean flashed 3 times, wiping data,cache,dalvik-cache, and system, erasing the android folder, flashed the broken gapps and with no apps installed, this issue happened. I know i shouldn't have to flash the sensors so i didn't. I dont use xposed and dont even have system write. Whoever takes time to read this, thank you and sorry to trouble you. I just want to know if its my zmax or not

Obviously you didn't read. I said I have read a lot actually. You can take a look at over 300 posts that I have posted here and see that I do not usually ask much. I thank all the devs on each phone I have had all the way back to the indulge. Like I mentioned before I'm asking for clarity because I don't want to end up in that situation and also if you do not ask questions, then that will make you dumb one. I see that most of this is plain and simple. To be honest with as much talk about bricking and that is hard bricking not soft bricking, I feel I'm doing the right thing. Just as some extra info, I havnt even done anything besides root the phone, installed recovery, flashed SU and downloaded the needed files for when I am ready to go with the Rom. I'll be sure to let you know when I have successfully done it, and guarantee you I will not brick. All I am saying is yes there is enough info to do this without a ton of questions, but it is not organized info, it is scattered. To be honest I do not feel that the few post that I have posted for a little support is a lot to ask. Isn't that why we have a "community"? Even though you are referring to me as a fool, I am not taking shots at you or going to call you any names, actually I have seen you be very supportive over the few years I have been here and kind of shocked by your reply. I have also seen you ask questions that you needed answers to also. Once again thanks for all the devs and members for everything y'all have done.

Edit* I do not change original posts, but I do see I read part of your post wrong. You were not calling me a fool, but saying don't end up to be one. I'm sorry about that.
I had been searching for awhile for the exact question u had so thank you for asking because this whole switcher thing is new to me and I've read where alot of people brick there phones. Also alot of people just give vague instructions. I was very relieved when I seen your post so don't feel bad.

Well I had an app and video with instructions. If you brick your device because of this or don't understand it. I would suggest not even using it. You can still have the rom. You just won't have system write

Dude, you are awesome!! I really appreciate you taking time out to help me out. That is the best post I have seen for this Rom and I'm sure it will help many more people than just me, and save some devices. I havnt got around to it yet because I am studying the way to go back to stock if I have to. I did get the zips from your thread about switchers and also downloaded the md5 checker and checked all the zips for broken and for the stock boot and restore zips and all were verified successful. Got everything moved to sdcard and saved all on a flash drive too, for double backup, just in case of sd failure. You and people like you are what makes this the best android forum around.

Does brokenOS have a way to wifi tether?
The procedure for flashing any rom on the zmax is the same as any other device, other than the fact that we have to use switchers to get access to the system partition. All the instructions and info for using switchers can be found on my thread in the first 2 posts. Its a sticky thread so it should be pretty easy to find.

The way to use the broken switcher is just a little different because it is done via an app instead of flashing zips over and over. The zip for the broken switcher just installs the app and puts the needed files on your internal storage. It also does put an "old fashioned" restore zip on your internal storage in case you do something that causes a bootloop.

I see that you have already downloaded the BrokenOs ROM zip, GApps, & Broken Switcher zip.
Just reboot to twrp, advanced wipe(system, data, cache, & dalvik), if you want to format data also that is fine as long as anything you want to keep is already on your SD card. If you don't format data then I recommend you delete any and all unnecessary files and folders on your internal storage with a file manager before you flash.
Next flash the ROM then gapps then broken switcher in that order. Also don't reboot in between flashes because that has always caused gapps problems for me in the past. Just flash all three back to back in the order I mentioned. There is absolutely no need to wipe anything after flashing the ROM, gapps, & switcher. Wiping after you already wiped then flashed is just redundant.
Wow, u answered every question and concern I had before flashing. I was unclear if I was supposed to reboot in between flashing and a few other questions I had were all answered. Thanks.

ok, sorry everyone, but I did a massive cleanup because:
A. Shit just all over the place,
B. Had very little to do with the OP.
C. Some posts just got caught in the crossfire.
Yeah, sorry but not sorry.

Start over.
Thanks, any questions, tick my avatar and chat with me.
