Sorry if I'm rehashing something that's already been settled but if I'm not mistaken I had the hero for a min when it first came out and I was able to disable the sense ui and just got with stock android also remember reading articles illustrating what steps to take in the menus to enable it.. Now that could've been hero specific at the time and also in the younger version of sense but fro, what I know it's the same overlay as the tf3d

Nope. I have my wife's Hero in my hands now.

nope you cannot sign up for EPRP @ bestbuy. however you can call in to sprint and ask to swap ur Sero to EPRP. they may ask for the employee email and code to verify you were a referral. this shouldn't be a problem. but it can't be done @ retail stores

Hmmmm... help me understand, if you would. I'm on SERO right now and my contract is finished up. I want to preorder at Best Buy so I can get it on day one. What are the steps I have to run through?

My assumption was that I could just go to Best Buy, get the phone and sign up for whatever plan they want, and then get on the phone with customer service when I get home and say I want to convert over to EPRP... thoughts?

Thanks!

What's the good word, dudes? I'm assuming that everything I knew last night is the same right now?
here's the cliffnotes from rebella jsut moments ago
the evo training started today for the Sprint Reps

couple things.

1. There will be an extra cost for the hotspot.
2. The fm radio needs the earpiece plugged in as it works as an antenna.
3. The Evo will have a special code and plan. I think the plan is the same just a different code.

the Qik is really cool also.

I think the phone will only be out on June 6th

the advocates will have it in the store May24th I think.

they are showing all the features of the phone just not releasing the plans or costs or release date yet. I think that will be released tomorrow maybe.

no I am not in 4g area yet. Coming in June I think

not an internal memo but an online training that we have to do. It is about 30 mins long.

I think the plan is the same, but a code for the evo similar to the blackberry. It is internal

Everything Data Yes.

Also only the 1500 battery was shown.
don't remember the internal

nope...

you need to go to
Sprint | Everything Plus(SM) Referral Program

check out the plans that you want to utilize. these plans are no longer called sero, they are called Everything Plus Referral Program (EPRP). Have sprint convert your Sero to Everything Plus Referral Program. They will ask you for the employee email referral and employee code. The same code that you used to sign up for Sero.

Once converted, check your online account to make sure it's the right one. then check if your upgrade eligibility is available. Go to bestbuy and preorder. they will automatically use the upgrade eligibility on your account to credit you and give you the credit for the MIR

Well at least I knew it was a little fishy when i saw the engineer just said "sooner"

I probably should have checked into it more but I think my EVO-lust-excitement got in the way.

Awesome. Good enough for me. If they're doing that in NorCal on Thursday, no reason for me to believe they won't start in SoCal.

now, don't take me 100% on this. i was only told this by my friend @ the mobile department of BestBuy. I hope his district manager knows what's he talking abut. you know, some managers are bogus and i have no clue how they got the position

Rebella, I am sorry, I mean no offense but the information that you are given out makes no sense to me and I do not believe it.. I mean that in the nicest forum way.

If you are right, I will man up and say I am wrong but I think your info is wrong.. Hell you even said training would start on May 17th right?

what makes no sense to you? I just am telling you we started a training today. I was told it would start on the17th but it started today. What else is not making sense to you.

Last time I posted some info some people thanked me and then others said I must be lying and they doubted me. What is the point of a forum to discuss if everyone says you are wrong. I work at Sprint and this is what happened today and what we learned about the EVO in the training nothing more. I don't know the price or the exact release date. The EVO reps are the ones that told me June 6th last week. If you don't want to believe me I can stop posting here.

Makes sense to me, previous past working in a call center and also my husband used to work for sprint many years ago, training dates are moved up when time is available. It's all about getting training in without having an impact onservice level be it call center or stores.:p

I think he is trying to get your info to jive with info he likely has. Nothing personal but it's the way we verify rumors in a format like this. Since anyone can post as anyone and people are under NDAs and can't cite sources, we try to get info to line up to verify it. Maybe he has some bum info. Maybe you do. I have no idea. I don't think anyone means anything personal.
