Root [H631/MS631] TWRP 2.8.7.0 touch recovery LG G Stylo

the whole secure boot thing.
Funny seeing you here as I used to have the Volt...

I'm on 6.0, Boost, rooted with kingroot, and in Dev Options you can unlock the bootloader (OEM Unlock).
I have a Linux box with ADB and everything ready (packages / java needed to build).

Can we make a recovery? :D

So, I saw a lot of stuff here, but I have a problem. I have a lg g stylo t mobile rooted ms631 and I installed TWRP 2.8.7.0 and when I reebot it it only shows half of the screens and is responsive the buttons they give me, I removed the battery and it goes back to TWRP or goes to boot loop, when I connect it to a pc it shows that is charging and goes to TWRP again but full screen but the touch doesn't respond. can anyone please help?

Okay I need some assitance....

I have the T-Mobile version. I tried root with supersu 2.65. It worked but says no binary downloaded so essentially the root cant actually do anything... So I can't use Flashify. So I tried a guide on XDA forums where I just flash this with adb.

I tried 10j, 10vi and other links you provided. It should still work this way but everything fails to write for the recovery...

C:\adb>fastboot flash recovery v10.img
target reported max download size of 268435456 bytes
sending 'recovery' (11230 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.390s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: 0.390s

I dont understand.. Someone please help. Or at least tell me how to fix the SuperSu not having a binary. I downloaded the apk from a website because the "Update" option from the playstore does nothing. And the only other option is through TWRP. So neither option worked because I cant flash TWRP due to the error and also cannot update through the playstore. So I have no idea how to approach this.

I flashed this on the metro version and theres no touch input when your in the recovery. It appears to be working properly otherwise, you can see the whole screen.

Ive tried different downloads via multiple different networks on several different devices, and I've tried flashing it through both flashify and adb.. All to the same effect.

I've tried both the download in the op, and the updated version for the new hardware variant. I checked the md5 sums of the downloads in both the op and thread, they appear to be the same file?

Make sure you have OEM-unlocked checked in Dev.mode settings. Sovit can work

Practice doing this till a recovery starts
..

Recovery Mode LG G Stylo.

1.Turn off the device
2.Press and hold Volume Down key + Power key about 10 seconds
3.Release all key when LG logo appears
4.Press and hold again Volume down key + Power key
5.Release all key when Android System Recovery Mode appears

..

keep trying you'll get the hang of it
Eventually You will into the stock recovery

If your not on a tmobile or metro branded phone forget everything
your doing and set up your locked bootloader phone.
see what sw version it says under battery

I can get into twrp through the app but when I do the power button + volume button method it takes me to a stock recovery
