Random Thought Thread

A fart nozzle is an oversized "performance" exhaust found on underpowered import cars.

I live right near low-rider central. Any import with 4-wheel independent suspension also has a $500 fart can muffler, $2000 rims, and 4 colors of primer.

Most don't realize that factory exhaust systems are tuned for optimum performance. 3 inch pipes, no converter and a minimally restricted muffler actually decrease HP on a little Honda engine lol. Kids....

I like the snarling growl of the V-8, to me, nothing even comes close.

Detroit iron. We used to take our sports cars of any make and run rings around them. The best I saw was an original Cooper S leave a muscle car standing in the automated toll booth.

Even now, my Tacoma has a better turning radius than a lot of cars.

My Tacoma has a better turning radius than many new cars.

I prefer sports cars.
I'd far rather go watch the superbikes with can handle than the funny cars

I had a 2004 Tacoma. It had the turn radius more similar to a car than a truck. It was certainly a lot easier to handle in tight spots compared with a 1992 Sierra my guy had or the 2001 Pathfinder I rid myself of.

I've got a 1996. I intend to keep it going. The new cars do not interest me. I drove the Acura and I didn't think much about it. It's a boat. I dislike the visibility with the new cars. My Tacoma is also 4WD. I like the fact that I can see over or through most other vehicles.

I have to watch the right side for the Vulcan. Cars come up over the hill where we live and they don't take the foot off the gas. It's a 9% grade.

Well I am sad today. Primarily because my world traveling friends left Saturday morning for Cancun. They'll spend a week there, then a week in Cuba, then heading into the Caribbean and then on to South America. Supposed to be back in September for a wedding, it will be a long nine months. There are other factors at play as well, but the 4 weeks they spent here went fast and I'll miss them until they come home. Boo on Monday as well of course. Not enough coffee in the world to get the old furnace firing today. :(

Don't know, I never hang out here.

...unless you're allergic to politics, then yeah, you'll break out in hives fast.

Edit: LOL @Lunatic... Just saw that. Actually it was an air data computer. Took longer to do the paperwork than to identify the problem and fix it.

California and politics, not a good combination. I'm not a big fan of that state myself, no offense to any who might live there. It's just not my "Cup of tea".

I completely agree with everything you said!

Personally I have absolutely no desire to to live in California.

California is WAY Too Liberal for my taste.
