Root [ROOT][GUIDE][ONE CLICK] Asus ZenFone 2E/2/Z00D/ZE500CL/550ML/551ML

hello, after clicking on Root_zenfone.bat phone reboots into recoverty
in cmd i get "dang root vui cho"
then "waiting for device"
and just hangs.
but phone boots back to normal n its not rooted. do u have any idea what it could be
n yes drivers were installed.

Okay, trying to root my 2e with this method. I have installed the drivers and turned on USB debugging, but when I hit the enter key in the command prompt, the cursor moves down and nothing happens. The phone never asks anything and cmd never does anything, it just hangs after "started daemon successfully." Did you guys figure out what the problem was? I'm running Windows 7.

I am having the same issue as these two users. I know this is probably necro'ing this thread but there doesn't seem to be a solution posted as to why it hangs the way it does. Can anyone assist me?

Edit: I have followed the guide completely, I've installed the Google Inc. drivers and everything but when I use the Zenfone root.bat it (only the first time) said something about daemon port issue, then that it started it successfully, went to the next line then just stopped doing anything. Never was prompted on my phone or my computer for permission or anything.

I successfully rooted my asus zenfone 2e with this method. Now my camera does not work. This is a known issue due to rooting Zenfone 2 or some others and phones or whatever. I'm wondering how to fix this. Since I don't have a custom recovery for this phone and there don't seem to be any other methods to root this phone, it seems I am up s*** creek without a paddle. Please tell me that there's a way to fix this and to keep root.

Everything runs ok but when I run Root_zenfone.bat I get :
error: cannot open 'magic'

error: cannot open 'busybox'

error: cannot open 'supersu.tgz'

error: cannot open 'installer'

I think this is ****ing me up? As I do not have root access

Hello I had this very same issue, and found a second method to root this phone and it worked. At the site use method 2.

The only issue is I placed the zip on the Micro SD card and I could not mount it under the CWM options. I rebooted the phone moved the zip file to the root of the phone, and all went well.

From here I was able to freeze the unwanted AT&T crap.
