Car Radio whit Androide Streaming problem

Can someone tell me why its not possible to use some Streaming Providers on this Android Unit

Like www.netflix.com I can logon and choose a Movie, but streaming will not start ? Do I have to change something in setup menu ?

Does Androide 6,1,1 not allow Streaming, when its OS in a Car unit, who is like a Tablet ?
Where in setup do I enable Streaming ?

Bought online from China. Possibly this device is rooted. Some of them do come rooted. I know Netflix will not stream on rooted Android devices. Suggest you install Root Checker, and see what it reports....

Another way to check is with the file manager, can it see the /system folder and files in it? If yes, then it's rooted, and Netflix won't stream.

Also some streaming services if they have DRM like Sky Go, might only run on known approved devices, e.g. Samsung Galaxy phones, and not unknown whatever things from China.

Another thing it's 4.4.4 Kitkat, which is rather old now. Do we know if things like Netflix still support that version, or older?

Netflix does run on rooted devices as the protection it uses on its streams are encrypted enough to keep rooted devices from downloading illegal especially with its new download mode which transfers its drm with the video file to only work on netflix app.

Also netflix works on android below 4.x.

The issue with the streaming maybe a connection problem, if the connection is not strong enough then it will start the movie, but remain on a black screen without a buffering text.

Ive noticed this on my 4g lte tablet which netflix mainly works only on wifi and not the mobile connection.

Consider doing some speed tests and see what quality youtube videos play in to know if its a connection issue.
