Root Lg Stylo Root/No-Root Install TWRP, Xposed Framework and Installer, and more root apps?

I want to install xposed on my device to use its modules, get a new custom recovery that I can use other than the stock one (I saw TWRP in a video about custom recoveries), and can I use more root apps on my phone without root? If I have to root to get all of these features requested above, does my Phone (LG Stylo (Model Number: LGLS770) Virgin Mobile) have a bootloader and if so how do I unlock it and root it with the SuperSU ZIP file that I have on my device?Plus do I need a recovery backup for my phone in case I mess something up during the process.

Thanks,
Caleb

with the ls770, you cant root if your on marshmallow firmware afaik. you have to be on a lollipop firmware.

for the ls770, there is no bootloader unlock. i have a ls770 and have been looking into what the k10 devs did to unlock their bootloader by hex editing and flashing the bootloader partition but just havnt done it yet. if i have any progress ill post it either here or xda. as a result of no unlocked bootloader and lg's tampering with fastboot (dont delete your laf partition, i have done it and it doesnt give you fastboot just bricks download mode if you bork your system partition) there is no twrp for your phone atm.

if you are on a lollipop firmware, then you can root with some of the guides on here that were posted a while back. DO NOT USE KINGROOT ON MARSHMALLOW FIRMWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kingroot/kingoroot/malware crap might be able to temp root your phone once, but once you reboot it will trigger the secure boot flag as invalid since it will detect a change on the partition structure on your phone and prevent you from booting. im pretty sure you can use one of the tot files provided by asialove and others on xda to reflash, but your mileage may vary. you might have a brick.

thats why i put my ls770 in a drawer and bought an h631, which is the stylo but for tmobile. i got it sim unlocked after 3 months of usage on tmobile, and have had an unlockable bootloader since the day I bought it.

if you want to do root stuff and stick with virgin mobile, see about finding yourself a moto e 2015, otherwise known as a surnia device model. it has an easily unlockable bootloader and plenty of root related stuff available, including a fantastic custom rom selection.

hope this helps!

supposedly there is a zv5 tot on xda somewhere which you can use to downgrade to lollipop. i used to have the file (and actually still do) but im not allowed to give it out freely since it was given to me under the trust that i wouldnt. if you ask asialove over on xda forums, he might feel nice and give you the file.

once your on lollipop, you can follow any of the root guides from lollipop that were posted here like a year or so ago and get root. only problem is your stuck with lollipop if you want root, and wont be able to use marshmallow and have root.

Ok but if I wanted to stay on marshmallow, is there at least any tool that I can use to root my phone (without a pc, Mines broken right now) and dosent brick or temporary root my phone and gives me full root acess? Cause I want to use an app that lets me see Wi-Fi Passwords so that I can find out their Wi-Fi Password without asking them (Some are hard to find or they won't tell me)

Nope. No way known to root marshmallow without a soft brick.
