No GPS connection

This is driving me crazy. I've been on Google the whole day for answers and done every thing possible including downloading the GPS status and toolbox app and following those relevant instructions and nothing is making the slightest difference.
My Galaxy A5 2016 has decided to switch off its GPS and I cannot get the dam thing on again. I am not sure when this started but noticed it this weekend when I activated Strava to record a cycle ride and it could lock onto GPS.
Google maps is giving me a very rough location but not as accurate as usual and the GPS toolbox app is not showing one single satelite fix.
Any help would be much appreciated.
