No Nougat love?

I have 4 XPE's at the moment. The 2 that are stock show no update available without sim.
I restored the stock backup on another, fastboot flashed the stock recovery and logo bin, then installed the captured update zip.
I'm keeping my daily driver on AICP 7.1.2. Running smooth as silk.

There have been reports of devices on all carriers getting it... This process takes about 2 weeks, with about 10% the first few days, then an addition 10-20%, then another 10-20%, then finally the every IMEI/SN being eligible.

Be patient... We have waited this long, what's another week or two.

Removing your SIM or mashing the Check Updates button won't help... when your IMEI is marked by Moto as eligible, you will be offered it.

I didn't understand that. Most carriers here didn't offer the MXPE. It came carrier unlocked.
A lot of the other phones seemed to have 6.01 on them. MXPE came with 6.0. It was supposed to be the most pure Android of the lot.

Yep, so much for that conclusion. Hopefully they've figured it out now ;)

Unfortunately, you know how this goes, patience is usually not a virtue for most. The update will come in due time. IMO it's good that they take their time rolling out, this way if there are issues, it saves many the grief. ;) but most don't look at it that way.

Over the last few days many people have been experimenting... if you insert a Sprint SIM in your device, the update will become available almost immediately... Several people have picked up the SIMs for under $10 and popped them in (not activated) and the update becomes available almost immediately. Or if you have an old Sprint SIM laying around that works too.

Really, since when has Sprint had a SIM card, haven't they always been CDMA ?? Is this something new ??

On Verizon. Used a Sprint SIM. On first boot got the update. No issues updating. Got the Sept security patches. Had to play with the Bluetooth car connection but that's working fine now.

Update on Bluetooth. Did two Network settings reset (neither completely deleted everything), manually deleted Bluetooth connections and reconnected and now it has had no further problems.

No connection issues, phone seems a little snappier, can't say about battery life; battery was doing strange things about a month ago which started my look into other phones or update to MXPE. Accubattery says my battery is only working at 75%.

It seems this has begun (continued or restarted???)... Several AT&T and T-Mobile users and a single (verified) Verizon user have posted in the official Lenovo forums as getting the update without any trickery, it just popped up and was available.

Verizon users seem to be getting a slightly different build, verified by screenshots... 25.11.23 vs 25.11.22 that everyone else is getting, no word on the exact difference yet.

Remember, the update seems to only be offered via push notification at this time... Jamming the Check for Updates button will NOT help you at all, Lenovo has to offer it to your device and it cannot be pulled at this time. Note if you get the notification take it quickly (within a few hours) and do not cancel it, or the window seems to close and you have wait until the next round that your phone is offered the update.
