Help with screen sharing.

Could you please give more details on just what you're trying to do and what kind of set up you have -- smartphones, TVs, dongles, etc. -- because right now it sounds way too convoluted. References to a Chromecast indicate some kind of home use but pairing up with a car display indicates something in a car. Or are in a mobile home?
Something like a Chromecast can connect to hotspot, if it's currently set up to work on a home LAN you just have go through the set-up process to pair it up with the hotspot network instead.

Il try.
Phone is an LG v30 running 8.0 (as of Friday when i started this adventure).
Car is a 2017 infiniti Q60.
Have an hdmi to a/v converter cable.
Goal is to share screen and apps like Waze onto the cars upper display.
The car has a yellow video input.
So far the chromecast nor the amazon firestick will do both mobile hotspot and accept mirror/scren share from the phone.

Just found on Amazon and have ordered a Belkin Miracast Video Adapter - this might be what i need.
As next i was going to try a Roku stick.
