I need some advice or help on updating my galaxy A7 (2015). I currently have the 5.02 firmware, model number of my phone is samsung galaxy a7000.
My phone says it is up to date, but when I search in sammobile there is a newer update which is 6.01. I would like to update to that version but it seems that my phone is from the china region. That firmware on sammobile is from the CHC open china region.
I have read that these chinese versions don't support any google apps or playstore, my phone works fine and has no chinese apps and playstore works with no problem.
So my question is, if I update with that firmware, will I lose playstore and my phone become chinese only to use for china? Is there even a risk on getting network blocked or bricked?
I was trying to find current firmware version of my A7 in case I needed to recover, but cant find that version and cant find it in sammobile: A7000ZCU1BOF3
Please help before I can do any updates and ruin my phone.
