Help (Android 9) No notifications for reminders

I'm running Android 9, ever since I got the update (on my Pixel XL) I have not been getting notifications for reminders on Google Keep. I tried talking to Google and they had me clear my cache, which only seemed to work for one or two notifications but then they stopped again. I can't seem to figure out what to do or how to solve the issue. I rely on these recurring notifications for work and personal use, so it's annoying that I can't remember some things because I rely on reminders from my phone.

I'll try that, I swear I did already though. I'll test it out real quick if it's working.


UPDATE: Just tested it and it worked for a second, but then the notification hid. Or rather, the notification fired, it appeared on the lock screen, then disappeared after only a few seconds. There is not indication that there is a pending reminder or anything. The notifications (on the top bar) doesn't show that there is a reminder too.
