Bought new charger and it was charging good until this morning...just got charger day before yesterday..

My phone won't charge

Yes this morning well last night I put phone on new charger woke up and it was only on 1 percent it keeps saying she screen is locked to furnish phone to let it charge...I don't understand what is wrong....and it still won't charge all the way but to only 50 to 49 percent this is all day

is it an oem charger? or one that is compatible? have you tried a new cable?
so the way i see it is that it can be:
1.the charger.....but you have a new one so i don't think this is it.
2.it could be the cable possibly.
3.it could be a software glitch. either rebooting or a factory reset might fix it.
4.it could be your battery. the phone has been out since 2016. it is possible that it is loosing its ability to hold a charge. i don't think it is replaceable. if you are a dyi kind of person ifix it most likely will have replacement batteries as well as guides on how to replace it.
