Help Simple Q for youngsters...

When I'm texting, I know how to backspace over previous characters, but how does one place the cursor and use delete like on a computer KB? I've never found "delete" on my LG6...

Thanks!

Russ
what phone do you have? usually you can tap the place where you want the cursor to be and then backspace the character you want deleted.....that is how it works on my note 10+ 5G.

Apologies on my previous post, I meant "delete" key. Backspace works as expected.

I have "phone" and "qwerty" KBs available. I've always used the qwerty but just looked at "phone" and don't see a delete key there either. Is this even possible? I'm sure if my 'puter has a delete key, it should be there somewhere on a phone KB. Not really important, but one of those things that make you go "hmmm"...

1. Long press on the text you'd like to delete.
2. Release your finger.
3. Options will appear of what to do.

You can also drag the "text select postions" after step one to refine your selection.

Yowser, that's perfect! Thanks for teaching an old guy a new trick.
