I think you just go to the Go Fund Me get started page here https://www.gofundme.com/create/fundraiser/category
....and go from there. Apparently they do have a catagory for "Monthly bills".

If others actually want to fund this particular cause, that's up to them. But I'm sure many people have their own bills to pay, and their properties to fix.

"Ask around the android forums / early bird specials.." yeah.. I can see that flying high. lol.

If he gets donations to help pay just normal monthly bills, I'm setting one up to ask for help with my OnlyFans addiction

the issue would be getting people who go to the go fund me site and pitch in. just saying they need money to pay the bills, most likely will not make people wanting to help. you also need a way to promote the go fund me. just having one up does not mean it will gain online traffic. people need to search for it. you can probably create one and just share it with your friends and family and have them share it as well.

According to the Internet...these scams where you tell people you have cancer work really good. No one can check because of HIPAA Guidelines and everyone at your local church is a sucker for a good cause

I don't mind helping my fellow man but I've never had my hand out for a gift. A few months more than a year before I retired from my carpenter occupation most of my woodworking tools were ripped off. My daughter started a go fun me thing on fb. I was embarrassed. It collected over five hundred dollars from complete strangers. The builder that I had worked decades off and on for cut me a check for a couple of grand. He said it was worth the money to keep me from retiring. People are generous... even I'm generous. I grew up poor. Living extremely cheap and working for sub wages day and night to make it seemed to be the best course of action when I was in dire straights. But... I don't think a go fund me costs anything.

Does it take a bank account? That could be dangerous if it gets hacked. I guess everything has its bad side.

yes you need a bank account. just create a new bank account specifically for the gofundme funds and have any funds made from it go to it.
