  What did u do before factory reset??? I think u deleted some system apps n then u factory reset, m I right??? Coz the problem u saying, status bar present but black screen is possible only if u deleted launcher apk so there is no launcher on device n hence black screen. Install any launcher via adb with device in usb debugging mode n restart the device, it should solve ur problem.get back to me if any problem.
