    Market slow after 2.1 upgrade

    Since the 2.1 update, the Market takes FOREVER to open anything. Whether it's just as the app opens, when I go into Downloads, or if I click a new app and try to look at screenshots. I just don't remember it being this slow. Suggestions?

    Root Cyanogen 5.0.5.6 with bekit 1ghz running very hot

    Is this a bad combination? I'm constantly at 40 degrees. If not there, usually upper 30s. I'm hearing people are often in low 20s with their ROMs. What's the deal? I don't even play games that much, nor do I browse intense websites. Would you suggest a different kernel?

    I know I'm just nitpicking, but why does cyanogen rom say "verizon" and not "verizon wireless"? Not a big deal at all. Just wondering. Kind of prefer it to say verizon wireless.

    Root unrooted but still getting messages about root things

    I used the SMUpdated to both root and unroot. And now every once in a while a message comes on the screen in front of whatever I'm doing that says "sholes is being harvested." And then "waiting for sholes to freshen up." What is still installed?? How do I get everything root related gone?

    Are there any twitter apps that give you a preview of a twitpic (or whatever twitter picture service) directly in the timeline without having to click anything? SocialScope on my BlackBerry did that and it was an awesome feature.

    Instead of an app drawer at the bottom... Swipe the left of the notification bar to bring down your notifications Swipe the right to bring down app drawer That way you can get to all your apps whenever you want. Just an idea.

    Some contacts have 2 or 3 Facebook Profiles?

    I'm guessing this is just a bug, but for some of my contacts, they have two "Facebook Profiles" listed. One even has three. I can't figure out how to delete them so it only shows one. I guess it doesn't really matter, as it's not making anything non-functional. Just a minor annoyance.
