Phandroid was able to go hands-on with both the Moto G5 as well as the Moto G5 Plus at MWC this year. They feel the metal finish makes it more premium than other mid-range devices and share some details about the G5 Plus not having NFC in the US.
Lenovo was at MWC 2017 to show off their two new Moto G devices and GSM Arena was there to get a hands-on look at them. They were able to learn about the specs of these two devices and take a number of photos too.
An image of a smartphone has been shared on Google+ that claims to be of the upcoming Moto G5 Plus from Motorola. If true, the device will have a 5.2" display, 3,000mAh capacity battery, fingerprint reader, NFC and a 12MP rear camera.
Case manufacturers get the dimensions for upcoming smartphones early so they can go ahead and make their products. They then sometimes put out renders of what the device could look like and that's what we're seeing with the Moto G5 Plus right now.

A couple of images have leaked that claim to be of the upcoming Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus. Along with these images, the rumor also claims to tell us the specs and launch date of these devices. If true, we can expect Motorola to launch both of them on March 8th.
