Accessories 12V Multi charging device- would this work?

I got a Desire HD. I go camping and have multipule devices when any I wanted a all in one. Looking at one of these to charge it up with.


10 in 1 USB Retractable Charger + Car Adapter for iPad on eBay (end time 20-Apr-11 14:15:52 BST)

I asked the seller. He don't know, but says it does charge Motorola's, which use the same port as HTC. Would this charge a HD. I heard some say the pins might be different for charging is this true?

I personally would not use any multi type charger for my hd. I used one for my last phone and my phone started doing really weird things and it was never the same after that. I think it also screwed up my battery as it would only charge to 90% after i used it. The link you posted doesn't say anything about output voltage or output amperage.
