When traveling is it possible to turn off phone #1 and then turn on phone #2, in order to take phone #2 on the trip. Using the same carrier and phone number for both phone #1 and phone #2. Only one phone would be used at a time.
One phone is smaller than the other one and thus easier to take on a trip.

Depending on the phone, you can swap the SIM card and use the other. Are these both Note 2's?
Some take different sized SIM cards and have carrier restrictions.

You can call your carrier and have them switch to the other phone too.
