Help Ad Hoc Networking

As far as I know, unrooted Android phones cannot connect to ad-hoc networks. For me, a simple solution that does not require rooting is to turn all the ad-hoc networks into virtual Access Points by using a software called "Virtual AP" on Windows 7. Basically, this will turn your laptop into a virtual AP and your ad-hoc networks will be seen by Android phones as networks with APs. If you are using a computer with an Intel wifi card, you can use a free software called Intel MyWifi, which will function in the same way as Virtual AP.
