Does anyone know how to turn off alerts being played through the speaker when the headphones are plugged in?

Where's the un-thank button? You post the most worthless comments.

I'm telling u don't have an alert set for a notification. If your headphones are plugged in and a sound is coming out you're speaker than make sure your headphones are plugged in all the way.

So your solution is to turn of alerts for voicemails, emails, and text messages? Wouldnt that mean that I would lose those notifications with the headset unplugged?

Look...if u have an alert set it's gonna play thru your headphones but not the speaker. If it is playing thru your speaker then something wrong. It should only be heard thru your headphones.
