Hi I am running Android 2.3.5 on the HTC Desire HD with HTC Sense 3.0

    Steps:
Messages > Settings > General > Storage settings.

I have the check box checked next to "Delete old messages" with the limit set to 200, but it doesn't keep the messages at a maximum of 200, it goes way over.

Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution to get it working?

EDIT: My friend has just tried this on the same phone running 2.3.3 with sense 2.1 and it works fine... looks like something has gone awry between 2.3.3 and 2.3.5 ...

I'm having exactly the same problem. I want to limit to 750 but it does nothing.

    I'm on a Desire S running HTC Sense v3.0 and Android v2.3.5.
