I recently got the Android 9 update on my Moto g6. The update did not go smoothly and I had to turn my phone off and on during the process (the one thing that should never be done, but had to be done). Ever since the update, I lost most of my files, which was to be expected, but there are also two unforseen side effects:
I fear that the turning-off of my phone has perhaps corrupted the update somehow. When I put it back on, it was at Android 8, and I had to retry the update (successful this time). I think that only having these problems is weird and I doubt it has corrupted the update somehow. If anybody can help me with either of these problems, or has a suggestion, please let me know; it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the help.
- My data won't turn on. Whenever I go into the settings to try and enable it, it does not have a connection and then automatically turns itself off.
- The bottom bar does not work as intended. The Home button does not take me home, and the gestures that were meant to come with this update do not work for me.
